“Magazyn Kryminalny 997” (eng. Crime Magazine 997) was first broadcast on Wednesday, October 1, 1986 and was the third format of its kind worldwide. The format presents in the form of short, film-based reconstructions unresolved criminal cases in which facts determined by the police are presented. The production team is involved with the police in the search for criminals. Thanks to the interactive formula, viewers can also participate in solving criminal puzzles. Since 2017 Evolutionary Picture has been producing the format on behalf of the public television company Telewizja Polska S.A.
